Katari glass amphorae-style bottles are hand blown by our artisans in Egypt and frosted (if you select a frosted option) using a very unique technique of iron filing, instead of sand blasting. It creates a velvety smooth, milky-white finish that does not wash off or rub off.

Pure lab-grade glass is important when you work with clean beauty ingredients, as glass does not alter pH of your recipes.

The reason we went with hand blown glass is because of lack of options that satisfy our craving for beautiful shapes and plastic-free content. We searched high and low and went through a lot of possible options showing our drawings and designs to a lot of companies before lucking out on the team of artisans led by an incredible female glass-maker in Cairo, Lamyaa. Her team has have never made accessories like this. But now they do and the result is beautiful, hand blown pieces of art that keep plastic out of landfills and preserve a beautiful craft of glassmaking. Each piece is unique, sizes and shapes slightly vary!
